Aine belongs to Irish mythology, associated with summer, the sun, love and the land.

For this painting, I imagined her at the moment when summer begins to turn, warmth still lingering, but autumn already creeping in.

Painted in oils on found vintage fabric, she becomes part figure, part flower, part memory.
